is a clearinghouse of information regarding the transferability of courses
among 111 participating Illinois schools. However, this website is of
limited or no use to certain types of transfer students, including reverse
transfer students and students from outside illinois.
Services iTransfer Does Not Provide
Reverse Transfer Students - A student who is currently enrolled
in a school and wants to take a course at a different school during
the summer and transfer it back. These students should always check
with their academic advisor to determine course transferability.
Students wanting to transfer credit from schools outside Illinois
- Each school has its own unique policy regarding the transferability
of out-of-state course work. These students should always check with
an academic advisor at the specific school they are interested in to
determine course transferability.
Students wanting information on how military and/or experiential courses
transfer - Each school has its own unique policy regarding the transferability
of these types of courses. These students should always check with an
academic advisor at the specific school they are interested in to determine
course transferability.

Financial aid information - please contact your school's financial
aid office or use the CollegeZone
website to answer your financial aid questions.
Admission applications - please contact the school you are interested
in by accessing the contact information iTransfer provides for
IAI participating schools.
Academic transcripts - please contact the school that awarded you
the credit since only they can issue transcripts.
