Art: Associate in Fine Arts (A.F.A.) Degree

The A.F.A. degree is designed to prepare students to transfer as a junior to a bachelor's degree Art program. Most schools require a portfolio review for admission to a B.F.A. program, for registration in a second studio course in a medium and/or for scholarship consideration. Remember to consult with your academic advisor early and often in your academic career!
