Transfer Coordinators
u.select is a online tool for transfer students and advisors. In one central location, students and advisors can determine program requirements, view course equivalencies and create a personalized degree report.
There are two ways an institution participates in the u.select Illinois Project:
Students transfer credit from "Sending Institution" to "Receiving Institution(s)". This transferred credit will then contribute to the student’s progress toward a degree at a Receiving Institution.
Receiving Institutions provide course equivalencies, program requirements and the ability to create a personalized degree report.
Which institutions are Receiving Institutions? 18 Illinois institutions participate at various levels in u.select including all Illinois public universities and five private institutions.

Sending Institutions provide course listings that allow students and advisor to create course portfolios in My Courses. A few Sending Institutions also provide the capability for students to automatically import their course histories directly into u.select.
Which institutions are Sending Institutions? All Illinois public community colleges, two private institutions as well as all Receiving Institutions participate in the u.select Illinois Project as Sending Institutions.
